Recycling @ NAWMA

The Northern Adelaide Waste Management Authority (NAWMA) accept many waste items at their waste transfer station located at Gate 3 Bellchambers Road, Edinburgh North.

Some recyclable items are also accepted free of charge, including:

  • Polystyrene
  • Soft plastics
  • Cardboard
  • Steel/metal
  • Paint tins (still containing paint- empty tins go into your recycling bin at home)
  • Waste oil (including car and cooking oil)
  • Car batteries

 

E-waste, including:

  • Computers
  • Printers
  • Electrical leads/cords
  • Scanners
  • Keyboards
  • Mice
  • TV, DVD and CD players
  • Stereo and sound systems
  • Photocopiers
  • Faxes
  • Digital cameras
  • Game consoles

Women’s Road-Ready Cycling Program

Are you a woman who wants to get into cycling?

The Women’s Road-Ready Cycling Program is offering a free program to give you the skills and confidence to get back on your bike.

Who: Women who want to get back on their bike
When: 2 hours/week for 4 weeks; 23rd and 30th March and 6th and 13th April
Time: 10am – 12pm
Where: Gawler Recreation Centre, Nixon Terrace, Gawler
