NRC Interpretation Display Project Officer                                  1 day/month
Time commitment variable, can be a block of time to produce 1 display or spread over a few months working on displays for a particular event (eg. Gawler Show)
You will research and design static and interactive displays on a variety of topics. There will be displayed at the Centre as well as used at shows etc throughout the year. Sound computer skills and willingness to learn is an advantage as well as resource and visual design skills. Great opportunity to learn more about a topic of interest. We would like a couple of displays directed towards kids. These would include: A native ‘touch table’ where you would need to collect gum nuts, animal skins etc to be used in the display as well as signage. We have run kids activities at events before and they are always popular. It would be great to come up with more kids activity ideas.
