Width: 3-5m canopy
Description: Dull green leaves. Flowers are white/pale yellow in spring and summer. Bark covers only lower parts of tree trunks.
Growing and distribution: Widely occurring on Adelaide Plains – common mallee species in all well-drained soils.
Beneficial Attributes: Aboriginal people crush the leaves for medicines and make bowls, shields and spears from the bark and obtain water from roots. Butterfly nectar food plant. Attracts birds.
